Our Single Moms of Brooklyn Community Renewal Project empowers and inspires single mothers in the community by providing emotional support and resources. 📓 Starting this Sunday @singlemomsofbk will be collecting a special offering to purchase all of the back to school items for ten children whose moms attend the group. ✂️ At tomorrow’s gathering, we will have a specially marked offering box where you can give towards buying these supplies. We were blown away by how generously you gave to the moms on Mother’s Day. We are excited to see your generosity in action again! 🖍 #mercifulpresence #backtoschool

On Sunday, as we came to the close of part 1 of Romans, many of you identified areas of sin in your life where you were asking for God’s freedom. If you could not join us on Sunday, take a moment to listen to our podcast, which in linked in our bio, then read on. . There are two main ways God works in our lives: Breakthrough and Process. . Breakthrough is a moment we can mark. It is taking a giant step forward all in a single moment. Process is the ongoing steps that allow us to walk in the freedom we experienced in the breakthrough moment. . It is learning how a breakthrough goes from a special moment with God to lasting change in our ordinary lives. . If you experienced a breakthrough moment on Sunday or had one when you listened to the podcast, we encourage you to engage the ongoing process of transformation by inviting community in. Share your experience with one trusted person in this community. Ask them to pray with you for ongoing freedom, follow up with you in a week or two and commit to being brutally honest with that person. Let this #formativeencounter moment lead you deeper into #pilgrimcommunity . If you are new to the community or do not have a trusted person here, we want to be that for you. Looking forward to 22 weeks combing through every word with @tgcwilliamsburg and @tgcparkslope
We start meeting as one gathering tomorrow at 10:30 am! Who is soooooo excited??🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ There will be iced coffee. There will be a/c. There will be 120 brand new chairs to sit on. . All children, other than nursery age, will meet at our 211 Ainslie location for a full kids program. . And please note: Park Sundays, when we spend the afternoons hanging in McCarren Park, will start next week, July 8, instead of this Sunday due to the heat advisory.
