In a city like New York, it can be easy to get caught up in our own stories, pouring our energy into daily survival and personal growth. As followers of Jesus, we delight in opportunities to step out of our individual lives to connect with others in meaningful relationships that overflow into tangible love and service to our communities.
We have focused the community life and calendar of our church this Autumn around four rhythms: Grow, Belong, Serve, and Gather. Please consider the ways God is inviting you to participate in the life of our church.
becoming the people God created us to be through practices of confession, outreach, reading, and encouragement
learning to live as the family of God through practices of hospitality, openness, ministry, and eating and drinking
engaging our neighborhood through initiatives promoting compassion, mercy and justice
coming together and seeking God with passion, boldness, and expectation
We believe that the church is not just a Sunday service, but a community of people that love each other like family. We have eight neighborhood groups throughout Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick that meet twice a month to grow together through Scripture, prayer, discussion, and service. If you have visited on a Sunday and want to take the next step to be a part of our community, please visit the neighborhood group most convenient for you. You can contact Robert for more info about each group's specific location.
